Our story

Avec Patience was born from my first job, when I was still just a young teenager.

I grew up in a small shop filled with beads, a colorful universe where I had the joy of advising customers, playing with textures, and creating my first necklaces. Untangling threads and beads, adjusting and fastening jewelry for local customers and tourists—that was my sanctuary.

Even today, if I close my eyes, I remember exactly where every bead was in the shop.

That shop belonged to Christine, a family friend I deeply admired. She was a woman of integrity, full of contradictions and character, but also strength and charisma. Her passing left me with a gentle nostalgia, but above all, an immense gratitude.

Launching Avec Patience was my way of paying tribute to her and carrying on what she had passed down to me: instinctive creativity, kindness, and the importance of creating with intention.

Years have passed, and my life has filled up with projects, responsibilities, professional adventures, motherhood, and a thousand things at once. My daily life is often intense, sometimes chaotic, and everything moves quickly.

That is precisely where my studio takes on its full meaning.

Creating has become my way of slowing down. Of breathing. Of bringing a little softness into the tumult.

The jewelry, like the beanies, comes to life slowly, by hand, and without urgency. I create them at my own pace, in this quiet space at the heart of my busy daily life.

Recently, my mother joined me in the studio. She sews the beanies with patience, in a gesture that connects our two stories. It is our first official collaboration and a reminder that some things are better built together, and above all, without rushing.

Avec Patience is exactly that:

An embraced contrast between a hectic life and craftsmanship that demands slowness. Pieces created to become a little reminder of softness, presence, and kindness, even—and especially—on days when everything is overflowing.
